Dear Plymouth families,

Held on Friday evenings, our PTA-sponsored Family Nights welcome families back to campus for fun and enriching activities that provide a connection between classroom learning and real-world experiences.

Come join us on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 5:30pm-8:00pm, for this year’s first PTA Family Night! We’re so happy to welcome back several community groups that work closely with our school!

• Creative World will be hosting a pop-up art activity.

• FoodED will be bringing their always popular Bug Display.

• Old Town Sidewalk Astronomers—along with the Monrovia High School Astronomy Club—will be sharing their telescopes and vast knowledge of the skies. Telescopes will be open from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. . 

We are also excited to introduce a new community partner, the San Gabriel Valley Chinese Cultural Association, who will be bringing a series of performing arts workshops to Plymouth based on the discipline of Chinese lion dance. Make sure to arrive by 6:15PM to watch them perform! 

Please let us know if your family plans to attend (even if it’s a maybe) on this form RSVP HERE by Monday, September 25th so we can plan for materials and food.

VOLUNTEERS: 

We will need your help to set up & run Fall Family Night on the day of the event. Without the help of our amazing volunteers, this event wouldn’t be possible.  Please look at the sign up form on this post for a shift by Monday, September 25, 2023 to help make this a smooth and memorable event.  

FOOD:

There will be Italia Pasta E Pizza Food Truck and Cup of Cha available for food & tea drink options to purchase.  The Monrovia High School Astronomy Club will also be selling drinks. Please see below fliers with available menu items, pricing, and payment methods accepted.  

We will be offering FREE popcorn (limit one per person).

Feel free to bring in your own food and set up picnic style (lawn chairs, blankets, lanterns etc) on the fields surrounding the event.
