Dear Plymouth Families,

Welcome back to what promises to be another exciting and enriching school year at Plymouth Elementary! Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our school community. Together, we will continue to foster an environment where students feel valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their personal best.

This year, we are proud to continue our strong emphasis on kindness and our school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) through our S.O.A.R. expectations: Safety first, Owning our actions, Always respectful, and Responsible citizens. These guiding principles not only help us create a safe and welcoming learning space but also instill lifelong habits in our students. We invite you to partner with us in reinforcing these values at home and in our community.

We believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and meaningful. Our dedicated staff is committed to designing classroom experiences that challenge students to think critically, solve problems creatively, and develop a genuine love for learning. We will continue to nurture a culture where students are encouraged to ask questions, take intellectual risks, and collaborate with others — all within a physically and emotionally safe environment.

We are especially excited to welcome our 6th grade students as we launch our very first 6th Grade Academy! This expansion represents a unique opportunity for our oldest students to grow as leaders and role models on campus. With leadership activities, mentorship opportunities, and a curriculum tailored to support their academic and personal growth, we can’t wait to see the positive impact they will have on our school community.

As always, we believe that a strong partnership with families is essential to a successful school experience. Your involvement, encouragement, and collaboration play a vital role in helping each child thrive. We look forward to many opportunities to work together throughout the year — from classroom events to family engagement nights, and beyond.
