Welcome

Dear Plymouth Families,

Welcome to the 2026–27 school year at Plymouth Elementary!

Whether you are returning to our school community or joining us for the very first time, we are excited to partner with you for another year of learning, growth, and success. Plymouth Elementary is a special place where students are known, valued, and encouraged to reach their fullest potential, and we look forward to all that we will accomplish together this year.

At Plymouth, we remain committed to fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive school culture through our school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program and our S.O.A.R. expectations: Safety First, Owning Our Actions, Always Respectful, and Responsible Citizens. These values guide our daily interactions and help create an environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We encourage our families to partner with us in reinforcing these important character traits both at school and at home.

Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. We believe that students learn best when they feel supported, challenged, and connected, and we are committed to ensuring that every child experiences success throughout their educational journey.

This year is especially exciting as we continue to build upon the success of our 6th Grade Academy. Our oldest students play a vital role in shaping the culture of our school as leaders, mentors, and role models. Through leadership opportunities, academic challenges, and meaningful experiences, our 6th graders will continue to leave a lasting impact on the Plymouth community while preparing for their transition to middle school.

The partnership between home and school is one of the most important factors in student success. We value your involvement, support, and trust, and we look forward to working together through family events, volunteer opportunities, classroom activities, and school-wide celebrations throughout the year.

Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. It is truly an honor to serve as your principal and to be part of each student's journey. Together, we will continue to build a school community where every child feels connected, challenged, and inspired.

Let's make the 2026–27 school year our best one yet and continue to S.O.A.R. together!

Warmly,
Jen Maljian
