hello Plymouth families this is dr. Dre the principal of Plymouth with some exciting news about a workshop in trying to be providing our families next week Wednesday September 30th all of our teachers will be hosting a Partners in learning Workshop it will take place during the first 45 minutes of the school day that would be from 8:33 to 9:15 a.m. will Workshop resume link that will be shared with you by your child's teacher we had a truly wonderful start to the school year and it's in a large part due to your partnership in spite of the challenges we we've been able to ensure that all 499 of our students are connected with their teachers and have the capacity to participate in distance learning our next challenge is to make sure that all are students are fully participating in their learning activities and that you parents Guardians and family members know how to check and make sure that your child is successfully participating in their learning sample do you know how to make sure your child submitted assignment on the Google classroom or how to find the link to the zoom test in essence we want to make sure that all of our students are online on-time and engaged in learning we can't do this alone especially since our students are at home we need your help as partners in learning and we know that now is the best time to it's still early in the school year we want to make sure that our students are set for a successful year of learning whether that takes place through distance learning or if we're able to return to campus in person the workshop is I mentioned will take place next Wednesday September 30th from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. this is important to us so we're hoping that at least one parent guardian or family member each family attends the workshop alongside the student this is a family event parents with two children attending Plymouth to choose one class action to attend since many of TK Kinder and first grade teachers use the Seesaw platform we recommend that you choose the second that this feature provides if you have a child and are Mandarin dual immersion program you might be invited 2 seconds one with each teacher although we hope you can attend the morning session we will also provide a General Session that evening from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. before our non-english-speaking families will provide sessions in both Spanish and in Mandarin teachers will be contacting you with more detailed information spin we've had a great start to the school year and we know that this will solidify foundation for success for our students we're grateful for your partnership and learning please remember that you can always reach out to me or to any of our Plymouth team members if you have any questions or if you're needed our support thank you and I look forward to seeing you next
