Enrichment Programs

Our Computer Lab and Academic Programs

Geo Skills- a multimedia program that engages students in reading, interpreting and creating maps. Reinforces the National Geography Standards.

Get Ahead Math- various math games and practices in grade levels.

Imagine Learning-  a program designed to help our English Language Learners (ELL) be more proficient in the English language.

Renaissance Place- a reading program that tests students reading level (STAR )and reading comprehension (ACCELERATED READER).

Tungsten- a monthly assessment test in language and math that measures progress towards reaching proficiency. It is administered to 2nd - 5th grades. 

Type to Learn JR and 3 - a typing program aimed at teaching the fundamentals of using a keyboard.

Music Program

Plymouth Students in grades 4 and 5 receive lessons in voice and choir with Mrs. Butler once a week. Instruction in Band and Strings is offered by Ms. Oatman and Ms. Mann. 

All music lessons are held in room# 20.

Nutrition

Nutrition information, lessons, demonstrations and books featuring a different fruit or vegetable are provided once a month by Chef Miranda in the classroom.

With a degree in Culinary Arts from the California School of Culinary Arts inPasadena, Miranda Manos-Vickers serves as a “Chef in the Classroom”. Her duties with the Network include cooking lessons, primarily at PlymouthElementary School, lesson planning for all the sites, as well as produce and supplies purchasing. Since 1998, Miranda has been involved with students of all ages in various teaching capacities.
